In this tutorial. I am going to show you how to move images on the layer. The last tutorial is how to use the drag-and-drop feature in Photoshop CS4. In this tutorial I’m going to show you how to use the Move Tool. It is very simple so let’s get started.

1. You should have a Photoshop opened. By now you should have your image opened and already known how to drag-and-drop image on to your canvas.

2. Your layer is in Layer 1. If you haven’t selected it, make sure you have selected or clicked on the Move Tool. It looks like an arrow with a cross at the end. It is located on the upper left part of the screen. Click that, select on your image or select on your Layer 1. If you select the Layer 1, it highlights the image as you can see it puts the rectangle around it.

3. Now if you can see my Move tool, it’s this little arrow. We want to actually click on the image by holding down the left click mouse button and drag it around to different locations on our computer. If you hold on the left click button, and move your mouse, then you can see we are moving the image around on our canvas.

4. You can move it to the top, to the middle or to the corner, so just experiment so you can get comfortable with moving around your image on your canvas.

So that’s basically how you would move your image on your canvas. You might want to move the image to the center because on the next tutorial I’m going to show you how to use the Transform Tool in Photoshop CS4.

Thanks for watching guys. A lot of these is probably really, really basic for you but if this is your first time looking at it—this is for you. Check out my next tutorials, you guys take care and bye. This video tutorial is brought to you by
